Peugeot Family


Famous industrial dynasty, creators of the Protestant company in Montbéliard. Began with dyeing and crinolines, ended in the automobile industry. The most famous captains of industry from the family have been: Jean-Pierre (1770 – 1852), Jules (1811 – 1889), Eugène (1844 – 1907), Armand (1849 – 1915), Robert (1873 – 1953), Jean-Pierre II (1896 – 1965).
