Fishing in the Dessoubre Valley
A passion for fishing in the Dessoubre Valley
The Dessoubre, a confluent which flows into the Doubs at Saint Hippolyte, is worth the trip just for its beauty.
This fabulous 38-kilometre long river, ideal for dry fishing, offers a number of different sites. It is managed by the AAPPMA Doubs et Dessoubre association, and offers excellent quality fish at good levels of density.
The downstream section, from the Moulin du Milieu to St Hippolyte, features a succession of magnificent fishing stations, including Moricemaison, Fleurey and many others besides.
You can spend a day fishing at one of the two no-kill stretches, rich in fat trout that are particularly suited to the art of fly fishing.
