Grand Cru Emmental


With its subtle taste

 

emmentalGrand Cru Emmental, which boasts the Red Label and IGP (protected geographical indication) quality labels, has kept all the qualities of the land which saw its birth.

 

Since the 12th century, the cows continue to feed only on the grass from the meadows and on hay which has not been ensilaged.

 

Its production zone runs from the Vosges to Savoie via Franche-Comté, where the master cheese makers continue to produce this most famous of pressed cheeses.
