In the heart of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park, a major national listed site thanks to its authentic landscapes and environment, straddling three regions, Alsace, Lorraine and Franche-Comté, is the Ballon d’Alsace, which forms the southernmost tip of the Vosges.

Its summit, at an altitude of 1247 metres, has the most wonderful views.

On the ridge of the Ballon d’Alsace, a balcony from which to view the Alps, you have a 360° panorama, from where you will almost certainly see the herds of animals brought into the mountain pastures during the Transhumance.
