Munster
Another AOC cheese, munster, is now made in Haute-Saône and the Territory of Belfort.
It used to be an extremely common cheese in these parts, but has become somewhat more scarce: there are only two munster producers left in Franche-Comté.
It is a cheese that is bursting with character, and goes wonderfully well with other Franche-Comté produce and wines.
