mportant Fairly shaded A forest excursion which shells, with the liking of perforated, from beautiful points of view on Champagney, its vast basin and the valley of Rahin. Side melody, of many brooks push the ditty in underwood. Geology: one can observe an alternation of dark and friable rocks and volcanic rocks compact. Flora: oaks and beeches alternate harmoniously. Throughout way, one discovers mélampyres, the digital ones, brooms, nozzles and ancolies. History: field formerly of "wood tumble" where the coppice of oaks was exploited in full sap, every 13 years in spring. The bark then was separated and dried to be delivered to the tanneries. The last tannery to have bought bark was that of the "Thillot" towards the end of the Fifties.
