The mound of Grammont is the culminating point of the region of Villersexel (517 m). The fist settlement on the mound dates back to the Iron Age. At the end of the 14th century, a castle was built there but was demolished under the orders od Louis XIV when the King conquered the Franche Comté area in 1674.
From the mound, you yill appear a beautiful point of view on the fotthills of the Vosges, the plain of Haute Saône, and the Chapel of Ronchamp. The mound is approchable from the village (road, path and stairs).
