The Saint-Antoine fort is a fine example of pacifist (and gourmet) conversion of military installations. Built at the end of the 19th century to hold a garrison of 400 men, the galleries and strongholds of the fort today house 65,000 wheels of Comté cheese. A veritable stone cathedral where the cheese matures slowly in ideal conditions. During a guided visit with the master cheese makers, you will have a chance to penetrate the secrets of the noble Comté a 100% natural cheese.
