STOPOVER - LANDING STAGE. Baume-Les-Dames is a land where navigation has played a predominant role for a very long time, thanks to Claude François Dorothée de Jouffroy d’Abbans. In fact, it was between 1776 and 1778 that he made his first attempts at steam navigation in the pretty green heart of the Doubs valley.
