The Jura wines route

chateau-chalonA very picturesque itinerary! For some 80 km of sunlit hillsides the tourist Jura Wine Route opens up its treasures: exceptional wines for sure, but also a rich and varied heritage.

It is a country of sunlit hillsides, vines, reculees (immense cliffs hollowed out of the limestone plateau), caves, waterfalls and quaint historic cities.

Nearly 140 wine growers open their cellars for tastings of the four AOC's belonging to each producing area: Arbois, Château-Chalon, Côtes du Jura and l'Etoile.
