Take a break with this 'miniature' weekend hike to explore the Southern Vosges and the Thousand Lakes Plateau, a highly unusual environment. Mineral and botanical riches will appear after every turn or in the clear reflection of lakes. The plant life is incredibly varied, retreating glaciers have left behind scatterings of huge boulders and typical farms dot the astonishing landscape. You'll walk approximately 15 kilometres in utter peace and quiet. Remember to bring your binoculars and camera, because you'll find this atmosphere and these biotopes nowhere else. The hikes are educational, quiet, full of discoveries and accessible to all.
