The Jura's first Via Ferrata opened in Morez in 2005. Treat yourself to a sporting weekend in the Jura!
Accessible to all motivated persons.
It's a different way to explore the Haut-Jura.
Canyoning is a great way to explore the fantastic world that centuries of rushing water have carved out of the rock. Via Ferrata is an easy, organised form of rock-climbing where you can move on a cliff horizontally or vertically.
In July and August departure is guaranteed if there are 3 participants

DAY 1 :
Via Ferrata in Morez
Welcome and check-in at the inn.
Breakfast and trip to the Via across Morez, the spectacles capital.
Your guide will give you instructions and advice before you step up on a spur and cross the footbridge. This spectacular, impressive start is just the preparation for what comes next: the Nepalese bridge. These two parts can be avoided, but it would be a pity to miss them!
Then a series of easier walls and sections, sometimes in the sun, sometimes in the forest, leads up to higher elevations. The end is magnificent, with a view of the whole valley.

DAY 2 :
Canyoning
Impressive Coiserette Canyon is 40 to 60 m deep and less than 2 m wide. The easy introduction consists of a rappel; then there are many fabulous parts in the water (swimming and jumping).
The descent takes 2 to 3 hours and the walk back 15 minutes. Lunch is a picnic on the grassy banks of a river. Vulvoz Canyon concentrates all the pleasures of canyoning, in particular a superb toboggan and a 25-m rappel at the end.

Beverages, personal expenses, transport to the holiday location, processing fees (€6.50), tourist tax if any

cancellation insurance (2.5% of the price), repatriation insurance (1.5 % of the stay).
