Pontarlier’s many secrets and treasures are yours to share, of which the production of Comté cheese, absinthe, Pontarlier Anis, and salted meat smoked in tuyés (wooden chimneys) are just some.

PROGRAMME :

• Day 1:
Unguided tour of the Municipal Museum in Pontarlier. Visit to the Distillerie Guy. Lunch of typical local produce. Guided tour of the Château de Joux.
Dinner and overnight accommodation at the hotel.

• Day 2:
Visit to a cheese dairy in Pontarlier.  Freedom to discover the town. Lunch taken as you wish. Unguided tour of the nature reserve of the Frasne peat bogs. Visit to the Bonnevaux museum farm.
Dinner and overnight accommodation at the hotel.

• Day 3:
Hiking in Upper Doubs (6.5 km / 1¾ hours). Lunch at the Auberge du Tillau. Tour of a tuyé meat smoking room (Franche-Comté salt meat specialities). End of the programme.

THE PRICE INCLUDES :

The accommodation in a 2-star hotel, half board.
