The itineraries here, on the boundary between Lorraine and Franche-Comté, lead you to the Saône Valley or the Vosges foothills.
You'll travel through wooded areas, grassy meadows, rolling countryside, blossoming rapeseed fields and rustic villages that time seems to have forgotten. A mosaic of landscapes slowly passes by at the pace of your horse's steps.
You'll take a short introductory course to learn how to drive your horse and caravan before setting out on back roads to explore preserved landscapes, travelling an average of 15 to 25 km a day.
The interior is a real home for four or five people, including a refrigerator, sink with water tank, rings for cooking, lighting, heating, dishes and kitchen utensils. Every night you'll stay at a place that is fully equipped to accommodate your horse and you (fully-equipped bathrooms and toilets).
Share a friendly moment by reserving a meal at a table d'hôte.
You'll receive a warm, friendly welcome at your overnight stops.
Back in Fontenois, enjoy a dip in the swimming pool (open in July and August) a few hundred metres from the arrival point.
