PROGRAMME :
Arrival at Dole and tour of this city of art and history: As you stroll through the district of the tanners where Louis PASTEUR was born, down the rue des vieilles boucheries, past the Collegiate Church of Notre Dame or across the place aux fleurs, Dole is a veritable living, breathing painting of glorious colours. Stop for a moment by the canal and open the door to the house where Pasteur was born: his family life, his artistic works and his scientific discoveries will cease to have any secret for you.
In the evening, enjoy hotel on the heights of Mount Roland.
Dinner and overnight accommodation in hotel.
Day 2: Arbois
After breakfast, you will travel on to Arbois, the capital of Jura wines, where you will be awaited for a tasting of the whole range of wines from the Jura. And if the fancy takes you, you can continue your discovery of the Jura vineyards with a walk along the winemaker’s trail to help you enjoy the peace and scenery of this region.
Dinner and overnight accommodation at a hotel in Arbois.
Day 3: Salins les Bains
Breakfast.
You will then move on to your final stage: Salins les Bains. This town, with a rich industrial heritage, will reveal to you the secrets of its salt mines, classified World Heritage by UNESCO. You can continue your discovery with a visit to Salt Museum and so imagine the working conditions of the salt workers, who carried out until 2009.
End of the programme.

The car rental included in the price is a small economy model (twingo).
You can opt for a higher class at additional cost, either small family (Renault megane or kangoo ) or large family (Toyota Corolla).

THE PRICE INCLUDES :
The half-board accommodation (double occupancy), economy car hire, tour of the Birthplace of Louis Pasteur, the tasting of wines from the Jura, access to the winegrower’s trail, guided tour of the Salins les Bains salt mines and the visit to the Salt Museum.
THE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE :
The lunches, drinks and personal expenses, transport to the site and during the holiday, administrative costs (€6.50) and any tourist tax that may be payable.
OPTIONAL :
Additional night half board (on request), car rental (pick up at the TGV station at Besançon, price on request), cancellation insurance (2.5% of the stay).
