Dear biker friends, come and spend a week discovering the Jura in absolute freedom.

We have selected for you a series of remarkable sites, so that this 789 km trail is pure riding pleasure for you! The itinerary and the circuit can be adjusted over 4 days, from €200/person.

Each day, you will be able to combine the pleasure of biking across a region with breath-taking scenery and tasty cuisine, without forgetting the comfort and the warm welcome you will receive at the end of each stage, at your Logis de France hotel.

The Dole region will enchant you with its historical sites and forest of legends, the Vineyards and Le Revermont will awaken your senses thanks to the natural beauty and generosity of the land, the Lakes and Small Mountains Region will unveil for you its clear blue lakes and spectacular views and, last of all, the Haut-Jura, with its untouched nature, will whisk you off to the wide open spaces where man and nature live together in perfect harmony!

PROGRAMME :

Day 1:
Dole Region: Arrival at Rochefort-sur-Nenon towards the end of the afternoon.
Settling in, dinner and night at the hotel

Day 2:
Vineyards: Rochefort-sur-Nenon – Arbois: 183 Km
Start of the biking trail. Pass close by Chaux Forest, the Former Royal Salt Works of Arc et Senans, discovery of some of the most charming villages in the Doubs, then arrival in Arbois, a pretty Little Village of Character in Franche-Comté, where you can visit the cultural sites and taste the specialities of the Jura (wine, cheese….), not forgetting of course the warm welcome you will receive for a winemaker's meal in an inn.

Day 3:
Le Revermont: Arbois – Saint Amour: 146 Km
Discovery of typical landscapes such as the Baumes les Messieurs box canyon, of towns and villages with a lovely succession of sites of cultural interest (cheese-maker in Comté, tasting of traditional breads and beers, the famous Abbey of Baume les Messieurs, etc.)

Day 4:
The Lakes and Small Mountains: Saint Amour – Champagnole: 166 km. After your tour of Saint Amour, take the Lakes Trail that will ensure you enjoy some fantastic views as you go through Moirans en Montagne (the Toy Capital), the famous Lake Vouglans dam, and of course the legendary waterfalls on Le Hérisson. When you arrive at the hotel, you will have access to the Leisure Area (swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath, fitness room, etc.)

Day 5:
The Haut-Jura: Champagnole – les Molunes: 130 km
This day will take you across the Haut-Jura towards the south, via the impressive Syam Forges, the Nature Park, the ski resorts, Saint Claude, the Pipe and Diamond capital.
You will take the winding roads up through Septmoncel to the Hautes-Combes and travel through scenery that is wilder, more spectacular too.

Day 6:
Hautes-Combes and the Jurassian Bresse: Les Molunes – Chaussin: 164 km
Ride along the ridges of the Jura to reach the pretty medieval town of 'Nozeroy', surrounded by the ancient fortified ramparts, before discovering Salins les Bains, a spa town and capital of faience.

Day 7:
Chaussin
Breakfast at the hotel and end of programme.
